Mission Statement
The mission of the Florida State University, School of Physician Assistant Practice is to educate and prepare physician assistants to practice patient-centered healthcare in any clinical setting and to be responsive to community needs, especially through service to elder, rural, minority and underserved populations throughout the state of Florida.
Unique Program Features
Our faculty of PAs, physicians and biomedical scientists are in the process of developing a world class program that will assist you in your goal to become a practicing physician assistant. Our 27-month, 7-semester, 111 credit hour program was designed to prepare our graduates to practice medicine as part of the Physician-PA Team. Upon completion, our graduates will receive the Master of Science in Physician Assistant Practice degree. The PA Program at FSU is extremely challenging.
