Mission Statement: The Mission of the Frostburg State University's Physician Assistant Program is to educate students in compassionate patient-centered care. Students will learn best practices, use innovative technology, and work in interprofessional teams to deliver quality care, particularly in rural and medically underserved areas in Maryland and beyond. Frostburg State University Physician Assistant graduates will have a commitment to excellence, inclusivity, and community service.

Unique Program Features: Frostburg State University's instruction is unique in that we offer a multi-faceted way to learn medicine, including interactive case studies, Anatomage instruction and more. Our mission is to mold our students into competent, patient centered clinicians with a focus on primary care and serving the underserved. We also heavily focus on case based instruction to link the lecture based instruction to interactive case studies.
